Enrollment is open for 2024-2025 school year!
Welcome!
It is with great excitement that we announce the launching of the new Lila & Gil Silverman Early Learning Center, Alef Preschool. Located in the heart of Palm Beach, Alef Preschool caters to children 18 months to five years old.
Alef Preschool offers a full academic curriculum with learning that is relevant, exciting, and deep, allowing the children to authentically experience the knowledge, to make connections, to ask questions, and to draw conclusions, acquiring the life skills necessary to become a truly successful adult.
Our play-based curriculum includes language arts, mathematics and logic, science and exploration, art and color theory, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, Hebrew language, physical education, music, drama, culinary arts, and more. Each integrates shared values of Judaism and the constructive approaches to early childhood of Reggio Emilia and Montessori. By creating an environment that ignites children’s interests and encourages exploration, we support our young learners as they investigate, problem-solve, and build both academic strength and refined character.
With that in mind, we designed state-of-the-art facilities and cultivated a team of respected and experienced master teachers who bring a unique blend of personal warmth and professional ingenuity that will be the hallmark of Alef Preschool, well-known throughout Palm Beach and beyond.
At Alef Preschool we believe that each child is an entire world and has deep reservoirs of competency, capability, and personality with a unique learning and bonding style; the soul of each child is a spark of the Divine. And so we “educate a child according to his way,” as King Solomon describes in the Book of Proverbs, meeting our goal of “even when he grows old, he will not depart from it.”
